Switching to a 1.5 guard for the fade transition actually saved me 10 minutes per cut
I used to spend forever blending the fade line with shears, but a buddy in Phoenix told me to just use the 1.5 guard open and close. Problem was I thought it would leave a hard line, but it smoothed everything out fast. Has anyone else tried skipping the comb and going straight to a guard change?

Man I feel this. Tried the 1.5 guard trick last week and my fade looked like I let a blind drunk guy with a lawnmower do it. Ended up with a patch so bald it looked like a landing strip. Guess I gotta stop watching those YouTube tutorials while eating beef jerky.
