That Tuesday last fall changed my whole view on fading
I had this one client come in on a random Tuesday, kid named Marcus, wanted a drop fade with a hard part. I usually stick to scissor cuts, fades make me nervous. But I told him I'd give it a shot and spent a solid 45 minutes on that one fade. It came out clean, he tipped me $20 on a $35 cut. Now I actually look forward to fades instead of dodging them. Anybody else get pushed into trying something new by a customer and end up loving it?

Man, it's a haircut. Not a life changing spiritual journey. Glad you got a good tip though.

Wait, you spent 45 minutes on ONE fade? That is some serious dedication and I'm honestly impressed you didn't call it quits halfway through. I would've been sweating bullets the whole time hoping I didn't mess it up.
