Tried those cheap magnetic clips for my clipper cords and they actually hold up

I picked up a 10-pack for like 6 bucks at Harbor Freight last Tuesday and they're still sticking strong after 40 haircuts. Has anyone else found a random hardware store item that worked way better than the stuff from barber supply shops?

40 haircuts on a 6 dollar Harbor Freight magnet? That's 7 cents per cut if my math is halfway decent. I've killed three of those fancy barber clips in half that time and they cost me 15 bucks a pop. Almost makes me want to walk over to the orange aisle and grab some just to see what all the fuss is about. You sure you didn't accidentally buy some kind of industrial surplus by mistake?
