Library sale vs thrift store pricing, which side are you on? A $3 find changed my mind
Last month I hit the Friends of the Library sale and snagged a like-new hardcover for $2, but their mass market paperbacks were still $1 each. Two days later at a thrift store, I found the same paperback for 50 cents, but the hardcovers there were $5. That got me thinking about where the real bargains are. Do you guys stick to library sales for the selection or thrift stores for the rock bottom prices, and has one ever surprised you with a better score?

Our library sale actually charges $3 for hardcovers, not $2, so your prices might vary by town.
