Watch out for library sale price stickers on old mass market paperbacks

Found a 1970s sci-fi novel at the Des Moines library sale for $1, but when I peeled back the sticker the original cover price was $0.95 and now I check every sticker before buying since some sellers mark up thrift finds at garage sales.
