TIL the concrete floor in my uncle's garage in Akron eats spoons way worse than a vise
Was helping him clean out his garage up in Akron two Saturdays back and he bet me 5 bucks I couldn't bend a spoon with just my hands, so I tried and it folded easy. Then he said try it against that crack in the floor, and the concrete snapped it clean in two on the second push, way faster than any vise I've used. Now I keep a stack of thrift store spoons in my trunk and bend them on curbs and stoops whenever I'm waiting around, because the rough edge gives you a bite point that pliers just can't match. Anyone else got a go-to outdoor surface for this, or am I the only one ruining my knees on sidewalks?
