A customer told me my tune-up price was 'basically theft' and I can't stop thinking about it

Lady dropped off a 2019 Trek hybrid last Tuesday with a rear wheel that wobbled like a washing machine and brakes that did nothing. I quoted her $85 for a full tune, plus $20 for a new cable and housing. She looked at me and said 'that's basically theft, I could buy a whole new bike for that.' The bike retailed at $650 and she hadn't touched it in 4 years. I did the work anyway but I keep wondering if I should have just handed her a tire lever and walked away.
