Guy brought in a 1978 Schwinn and told me the rear wheel was "haunted"
He swore it wobbled only when his wife rode it, never when he did. I trued the wheel, found two spokes at 60 kg and the rest at 110, so it wasn't haunted, just laced uneven one night at the factory in Chicago. He laughed and said his dad built wheels there for 22 years and never once mentioned the haunted ones. Any of you get customers who blame ghosts instead of spoke tension?
