Shelled out $120 for a Park Tool truing stand and it felt worth it

I finally got sick of trying to true wheels using my frame as a stand, so I grabbed the TS-2.2. Broke two spokes on my rear wheel last week and got it dialed in perfectly in 20 minutes. Anybody else find that spending the cash on good tools actually saves time in the long run?

Ugh, I mean I get the appeal but I don't know if I'd call it worth it for me. I've been fine using a cheap zip tie on the frame and a spoke wrench, spends that cash feels like overkill unless you're building wheels every week.

My buddy tried that zip tie trick once and his wheel ended up so out of true it looked like a potato chip. He spent the next hour chasing spokes instead of riding.
