The $8 spoke wrench I ignored for 3 years was the whole problem

I kept getting wheel wobbles no matter how careful I was with truing, then a customer's old steel rim showed me my cheap wrench was flexing at the nipple. Swapped to a proper Park Tool SW-0 after a shop visit to Philly and my truing time dropped from 45 minutes to 20. Anyone else ever blame their technique when the tool was actually the weak link?
