Vent: I finally saw the difference a proper bleed makes on a set of SRAM Guide R brakes

I had a bike come in last week with spongy levers and the owner said they were 'just like that'. I did a full bleed with the SRAM kit, not just topping off the reservoir. The lever feel went from a mushy 3 inches of travel to a firm 1 inch in about 20 minutes of work. Has anyone else had a customer who just lived with bad brakes for way too long?

Proper bleed" is just fixing a design flaw.

Yeah, calling it a "design flaw" is so spot on.

Read a review that said the same thing, cheap hinges on an expensive frame.
