Binged a 10-season show in 6 days by using 1.5x speed on the slow parts
I kept dropping shows because the filler episodes felt like a chore, so I started speeding up scenes where characters just stare out windows or recap what already happened. For real, I got through all of Supernatural's later seasons (you know, the angel drama parts) without getting bored once. Has anyone else found a trick to speed through the slow arcs without missing the good plot points?

Skip ahead 10-15 seconds during the long, slow shots where characters are just standing around doing nothing. I do this all the time with shows like The Walking Dead where they milk the atmosphere way too long, and I still catch every bit of dialogue. Honestly, you miss way less than you think because those pauses are usually just padding to make episodes longer.
