Bought a Fire Stick for $30 and it saved my TV from the slow menus

My old smart TV took forever to load Netflix and kept crashing every time I tried to browse. I finally picked up a Fire Stick on sale for like 30 bucks and plugged it into the HDMI port. Now I can jump between shows in seconds with no lag at all. It made my old set feel brand new without spending hundreds. Anyone else use a streaming stick to fix a slow TV?

Totally feel you on this. My grandma's old Roku TV was so sluggish I wanted to throw it out the window, but a Fire Stick for $25 on sale was all it took. It's wild how a tiny $30 gadget can make a perfectly good TV feel like new again.

Funny enough, my own TV got so slow I started timing how long it took to load Netflix… made a game out of it before I finally caved and bought a stick too. Now I just sit there with the remote in hand, looking at the old TV like "sorry I ever doubted you." Nothing like a cheap gadget to make you feel like a tech genius for five minutes.
