Finally cracked the code on binge watching The Expanse without getting lost in all the space politics

I started taking 2 minutes between episodes to read the recap summary on Wikipedia and now I actually understand what the OPA is fighting about after 3 failed attempts to get past season 2.

That's actually a clever trick. The show throws so many factions and grudges at you it feels like homework sometimes. But here's the thing - aren't you worried Wikipedia might spoil some of the bigger plot twists? Like the whole thing with the protomolecule or what happens to certain characters later on. I tried reading recaps once and accidentally found out who was gonna die in season 3 because the summary mentioned it casually. Maybe you found a way to skim just the past episodes without peeking ahead though. What's your system for keeping yourself from scrolling down too far?

Told my buddy Mike about this and he tried it last week. He got so into reading the recap that he accidentally read all the way through season 3, saw that Amos has this crazy backstory he didn't even know about yet, and now he's mad because he spoiled half the character reveals for himself. He said he was just trying to understand why the Mars crew hated the Belters so much and next thing he knew he was reading about something called "the ring gates" that happens way later. Now he's asking me if knowing about the rings ruins the whole "protomolecule mystery" for him, and I'm like I have no idea man I'm not even past season 2 myself.
