Found out that Breaking Bad had a hidden color code the whole time

I was reading some fan wiki and apparently Walter White wears more green when he's being greedy and more red when he's angry, which I totally missed across all 5 seasons. Has anyone else noticed stuff like that in their favorite shows?

I used to roll my eyes at people who talked about color symbolism in shows, thought it was just fans reading too much into stuff. But then I rewatched the first few episodes and actually paid attention to Walt's wardrobe. Early on he's in beige and light colors, then as he gets deeper into the meth game his shirts get more green and red. The scene where he yells at Skyler in the kitchen he's wearing this bright red polo I never noticed before. It's subtle but once you see it you can't unsee it. Honestly kind of blew my mind how much thought they put into that.

Is it really that deep though? Like, I get that costume designers have to put people in clothes, but I feel like sometimes we look too hard for meaning in stuff that's just there because it looks good. Red is a pretty common color for shirts, you know? Unless they literally showed a chart from the costume designer explaining each shirt choice, I'm not sure Walt being angry in a red polo means anything more than the guy needed a shirt that day.
