Hot take: paying for a streaming service just for one show is either genius or a trap
I dropped $15 on a month of Apple TV+ just to watch Severance... and ended up binging like 4 other shows I never planned on. That $15 turned into a whole 2 weeks of solid content. But my buddy paid $17 for Peacock just to watch one season of a show, finished it in a weekend, and cancelled it same day. He feels ripped off, I feel like I got a steal. Which side are you on, do you pay for a single show or wait til it hits a free platform?

Man are we really calling it a "trap" to spend 15 bucks on entertainment? Thats like two movie tickets or one decent sandwich. You either liked the show or you didnt, the rest is just math homework nobody asked for. I paid for a month of Paramount once to watch half a show, forgot to cancel, got charged for 3 months, and still dont feel that ripped off. Its 15 bucks, not a mortgage payment.

The real trap is forgetting you even subscribed in the first place.
