I used to skip every second episode of The Office and it drove my friend crazy

For years I thought I was being efficient by skipping the 'boring' episodes of The Office. My friend Sarah caught me doing it during a rewatch last Sunday at her apartment and she lost it. She made me sit through the whole Scott's Tots episode without skipping and I actually laughed at parts I always fast forwarded. Then we did the Dinner Party episode and I finally got why people love that cringe humor. Her point was that skipping episodes ruins the character buildup and inside jokes that make the show special. Now I'm going back and watching every single episode from season 2 onward. Has anyone else had a friend call them out for skipping parts of a show and make you change your mind about how to watch?

Hold on a second. Calling someone a monster over this feels like a stretch. We don't know the whole story, and people make mistakes, especially when they're scared or confused. Sometimes a person messes up without meaning to hurt anyone, and that doesn't make them pure evil. Can you honestly say you've never done something you regret?
