I used to skip the 'previously on' recaps until a friend in Chicago called me out for it
He pointed out I was missing subtle callbacks in a complex show like 'Dark', so now I always watch them. The change happened about six months ago, and it's made rewatching seasons way more rewarding. Does anyone else find those intros actually useful for keeping track of dense plots?

Your friend and @noah_barnes are right, it's like skipping the instructions for a puzzle. I've started applying that "don't skip the intro" rule to other things, like actually reading the manual for my new coffee maker.

Your friend in Chicago is a genius for that call out. Skipping the recap on 'Dark' is basically asking to get lost in a time travel maze. I used to do the same thing until I missed a huge clue about the missing kids. Now I treat those intros like required reading before a test. They pack so much into thirty seconds.
