I watched the first season of 'Severance' over a weekend, then waited a full year for season two, and the hype completely changed the experience.

The first time was a total surprise, but the second time I was overthinking every scene because of all the fan theories I'd read, which made it feel more like homework than a show.

Actually found the fan theories made the rewatch better. They gave me new things to look for in the background details. Felt like solving a puzzle instead of just watching.

Totally agree, it turns a passive watch into an active game. I started looking for hidden symbols or weird props I'd never noticed before. It makes you feel like you're in on a secret the filmmakers left behind. Honestly, some of my favorite shows now feel a bit empty if there isn't that layer of stuff to dig into.
