My buddy swore I'd hate "Pachinko" after the first 3 episodes

He said the time jumps were too confusing and I'd give up, but I stuck with it and now I'm 8 episodes deep crying over a single bowl of rice. Anyone else have a show that took a bit to click but ended up being incredible?

Waited three whole episodes for The Expanse to make sense and now it's my favorite sci-fi show ever. The payoff was worth all the confusion.
