My old binge habit was waiting for every episode to drop, now I just start when I want
I used to be that person who waited until a whole season of a show was out before even starting it like I held off on Severance season 1 until all 9 episodes were done. But last year with three kids underfoot at home I realized I just don't have the patience or the memory to hold plot threads for weeks. Now I jump in week to week even if it means forgetting a character's name between Tuesdays because at least I'm actually watching something current. Does anyone else feel like waiting just builds up too much pressure or is it just me?

Severance season 1 only had 9 episodes but I think you meant season 2 which actually just wrapped up this month. Season 1 was from 2022 and had the same number. Either way your point still stands about not wanting to wait. I started watchng season 2 live and honestly it was torture waiting a week for each new episode especially with those cliffhangers. But by the time the finale came around I was glad I kept up because everyone online was talking about it at the same time. Waiting for a whole season to drop might work for some but with kids and life in general I think weekly is the way to go even if you forget stuff between episodes.

Give the weekly watch a shot @claireg81, I found it way easier to keep up with my kids running around by just setting aside Tuesday nights for it. The cliffhangers sting less when you know next week's only a few days away.
