PSA: My entire watch list vanished right before a long weekend

It happened on Friday afternoon. I was about to start a three day weekend and my streaming service had a weird glitch. I logged in and my whole list of saved shows, about 30 titles I'd been collecting for months, was just gone. The home screen was full of stuff I didn't care about. I spent an hour on hold with customer service, and the guy basically said their system had a hiccup and my data might come back in a day or two. So there I was, with all this free time and zero plan. I ended up just picking the first thing that looked okay, which was this old detective show from the 90s. It was fine, but the whole experience of having my curated plan wiped out felt weirdly personal. Has anyone else had their streaming setup fail on them at the worst possible time?

The real tragedy is that you only had 30 titles saved. I'm pushing 200 on mine, a mix of stuff I'll actually watch and documentaries I tell myself I'll get to. That list is my security blanket. I had Hulu lose my place in a series once, right before a flight. I had to guess which episode I was on and spent the whole trip watching repeats.

Ugh, that's the worst kind of travel nightmare.

Huh, I think Hulu's better than that actually, it usually saves your progress.
