Rant: That $30 streaming subscription bundle I bought has more ads than my free cable
I signed up for that Paramount+/Showtime deal last month thinking I'd save money, but every show has 4 minute ad breaks now. Anyone else feel like these services are just repackaging what we already hated about TV?

Man I feel this. I signed up for Hulu with no ads and still got hit with a 90 second ad for their own show before the episode even started. Kinda makes me miss the days when I could just flip channels and not feel like I was getting nickel and dimed for the same experience.

Actually that Hulu "no ads" plan only covers ads during the show itself - their own promos before episodes are totally separate. Sucks but they're pretty clear about it in the fine print if you dig. Still feels like a bait and switch though.
