Ugh, I feel this in my SOUL. My family always picks those super dry documentaries that put me to sleep. We need a better system for choosing shows.

Honestly I used to fight it and pick my own thing, but then we all watched a show my dad picked. It was actually pretty good once it got going, which surprised me. Now I'm way more open to giving their picks a real shot.

My friend Jake swore he'd hate his mom's cooking show pick, but after three episodes he was texting me about knife skills. It's like what young.lucas said, sometimes you just need to get past the first boring part. Now Jake watches more food shows than anyone I know.
