Told myself Slow Horses was overhyped - binged all 3 seasons in a week
I kept seeing everyone rave about Slow Horses on Apple TV but the whole 'grumpy spies in a dead-end office' thing sounded boring to me. Then my brother put on the first episode last Saturday and I couldn't stop. Gary Oldman's character is just so gross and funny, and the pacing is tight with no filler. Has any other show surprised you like that after you thought it wouldn't be your thing?

Totally agree with @richard_wells59, Oldman just owns every scene lol.

Used to think it was just another British spy show with a gimmicky hook... then I gave it one episode and couldn't stop. The writing is surprisingly clever and Oldman's character has this weird charm you can't look away from. Really proved me wrong about needing flashy action to keep a spy show interesting.
