Went from skipping the intro to never missing it on my latest binge

I just finished watching 'Severance' over the weekend (what a show, by the way). For the first few episodes, I was hitting the 'skip intro' button after about 10 seconds, like I always do. But by episode 4, I found myself letting the whole theme song play every single time. The music and the weird, clean visuals just got under my skin and put me in the right headspace for the show's vibe. It's a small thing, but it made the whole binge feel more complete, you know? Has a show's intro ever grown on you like that?

You're gonna think I'm a monster, but Severance is actually a show where I skip the intro every single time. The music is fine, I guess, but that visual of the guy walking through the white hallways over and over feels like homework to me. I don't need to get in a "headspace," I just want to see what happens next. With something like The Sopranos or Mad Men, the intros are short enough that I let them play, but once a theme song drags past 30 seconds I'm mashing that skip button. I respect that it works for you, but for me a long intro feels like a commercial for the show I'm already watching.

Ever start a show hating the intro but then end up humming it in the shower? I did that with The Office, thought it was annoying at first and now it's like a comfort thing.
