Guy at the scrap yard tried to lecture me about my forge design

I went to pick up some mild steel last Thursday in Denver and this old timer kept going on about how my propane burner was too close to the ground. He said I'd burn through the floor in a week, like he'd seen it a hundred times. Anyone else get unsolicited advice from strangers every time you haul metal?

The floor thing is legit lol I had a buddy who did exactly that and had to pour new concrete after two weeks.
