Switched from a 2lb to a 4lb cross peen for drawing out

My arm used to be dead after an hour of work. Now I can forge for three hours straight because the heavier hammer does more of the work with each hit. Anyone else find a heavier hammer made a big difference for them?

My uncle always said a heavier hammer lets the tool do the work. He had this old sledge he'd use for straightening axles.

Read an article once that said the same thing, @aaron384. A heavier head builds more momentum so you don't have to swing as hard.
