That old anvil story about ringing is half true
Heard a guy at a swap meet in Ohio swear his anvil rings less since he bolted it to a log instead of a steel stand. I tried it yesterday on my 150 pounder, and the tone did change, but the rebound felt softer too. Anyone else notice a trade off when you swap mounting setups?
