Found a roll of vintage wallpaper at a thrift store for three bucks and it covered my whole empty hallway wall

I was just looking for something to fill that awkward 8-foot space above the stairs, and after trimming it to fit and using some cheap spray adhesive, it looks like a fancy accent wall for basically free, has anyone else had luck with thrifted wallpaper rolls?

Wait, people are actually putting up wallpaper with spray adhesive? Like the kind from a hardware store? I feel like that's going to be a nightmare to take down later, but hey, for three bucks and a hallway nobody really stares at, I guess it's fine. If it stays up for a year without peeling, you're basically winning at life.

Double down on that cheap fix. Three bucks and a hallway no one looks at is the exact right budget for that kind of project. If it peels in six months, you just rip it down and call it a win anyway.
