Hot take: I chose cheap washi tape over a $45 poster frame, and I regret it
Last weekend I had a bare wall in my hallway that was driving me nuts, so I blew $12 on a roll of gold washi tape to make a fake gallery grid instead of buying one $45 frame from Target. The tape started peeling off after 2 days and left sticky goo all over my paint, while my sister's framed poster from the same store still looks perfect 6 weeks later. Does anyone have a tape brand that actually stays put, or am I just supposed to suck it up and buy the real frame next time?
