My cheap poster frames were ruining everything until I swapped to real glass

I spent like $40 on 4 of those plastic front poster frames from the craft store and they looked AWFUL. The plastic had this wavy glare that made my movie posters look blurry no matter what. I finally got 2 real glass frames from a thrift shop in Denver for $12 total and it's NIGHT and DAY difference. The colors pop and there's no distortion at all, plus they don't bend the paper weird. Has anyone else noticed how bad the cheap plastic fronts are or am I just picky?

Same thing happened to me with my Mondo prints. I had two of those cheap plastic frames from Michaels and the glare was so bad I couldn't even see the art during the day. The plastic also had this weird static that kept pulling dust onto the print inside. Found some old wooden frames with real glass at a garage sale for like 8 bucks total. The glass is heavier but it just looks clean. No waviness at all. You're not being picky that's just how it is.
