Regretted that $80 frame set until my kid drew over it

I bought a 6 pack of cheap black frames from Target for like $80 thinking I'd finally hang some real art. They sat in a box for 3 weeks because everything I put in them looked bad. Then my 6 year old came home with a giant crayon drawing of our dog with three eyes and I threw it in one frame as a joke. It somehow looks awesome on the wall and now I have 5 empty frames still sitting there. Has anyone else had luck with kids art in cheap frames or should I just return the rest?
