Ripped my favorite poster trying to level it, had to get creative
Last Sunday I was putting up a 24x36 concert print in my living room in Portland and the tape pulled a huge corner right off the paper... I was so mad I almost threw it out. Instead I trimmed the torn edge straight, stuck it in a cheap 11x17 frame I got at Goodwill for 3 bucks, and hung it offset on the wall. It actually looks kind of intentional now, has anyone else salvaged a damaged piece this way or do you just trash it?

Did it end up looking better than the poster did before, or is that just me being desperate?
