The pizza place on 5th in Eugene tapes up kids menus as wall art and it actually looks good
Honestly I was waiting on a pie at a little spot on 5th in Eugene last week and could not stop staring at the back wall. They took maybe 40 old kids menus, the ones with the maze and the crossword, and just taped them up in a big grid with plain black tape. No frames, nothing fancy, and it still looked like a real gallery wall. I asked the guy behind the counter about it and he said they change out the whole grid every 6 months when the crayon smudges get too bad. Tbh it got me thinking because my kid brings home like 5 drawings a week and most of them end up in a drawer. This seems way cheaper than the $12 frames I keep buying at the craft store. Has anyone here done a big tape grid like that, and did the tape peel paint off when you swapped stuff out?
