Vent: spent $23 on a giant cheap poster and it looked like a dorm room wall
I grabbed a 24x36 poster of some vintage national park map on clearance for $23 at a Michael's in Boise, thinking it would fix my huge empty living room wall. Hung it with those sticky strips and it just looked sad and small, like I was a college kid again, plus the corner curled up after two weeks. Ended up cutting it into three strips, framing each one in $3 thrift store frames, and now it actually looks like art. Has anyone else chopped up a single poster to fake a gallery wall, or did I just get lucky?
