Blurry dashcam clip from I-90 near Snoqualmie, is that a dog or a deer crossing at night?
I pulled the SD card from my dashcam after driving back from North Bend last Thursday around 9pm, and there's this one 4 second clip where something big moves across the right lane. The footage is terrible, all headlight glare and noise, so I've watched it maybe 15 times and I keep flip flopping between a loose dog and a deer. Can someone here run it through whatever you use to clean up motion blur, or at least tell me what body shape I should be looking for?
what body shape I should be looking for" is the right question to ask because legs are usually what give it away in bad footage. A deer moves in these stiff little bounds with all four legs sort of leaving the ground together, while a dog runs with that loose sideways gallop and its body stays lower and longer. Idk if the clip is clear enough to catch that, but try slowing it way down and watching the back half, that's where the difference shows up most.
