My buddy at game night told me my Catan group is "just a spreadsheet with sheep" and I can't stop thinking about it
We were packing up after a 4 hour session last Friday at his place in Kent and he said it half joking, but then he pointed out that nobody at the table has traded a single resource without checking the odds first in like 6 months, and now I'm wondering if our whole group has turned into accountants instead of players.

Does it feel like this is happening everywhere now, like even picking a movie on Netflix turns into comparing scores and runtimes? We've got all this info at our fingertips and somewhere along the way we started optimizing everything instead of just playing.
