My buddy told me to sleeve every card in Gloomhaven, and now I regret it.
He said it would protect the cards from wear, but shuffling 1,500 sleeved cards is a nightmare. Anyone else have a game they over-sleeved?

I sleeved my entire Arkham Horror set and the pain is real.

The Arkham Horror card count is like 900 something sleeved right? I remember counting mine out of curiosity and it was just ridiculous. It got me thinking about how we spend so much time protecting things that might never get used in their original state. Like I have friends who sleeve all their expensive trading cards and then just keep them in a binder forever. Same with people who buy expensive phone cases and screen protectors for a phone theyll replace in two years. We live in a world of constant protection against hypothetical damage. But then again, nothing hurts worse than a bent corner on a card you actually care about. So maybe the pain is worth it in the end.

The entire set... that's like a thousand cards, easy. My hands are cramping up just thinking about all that shuffling and sliding. You must have gone through a whole box of sleeves and a weekend. I did my starter set once and almost gave up halfway through.
