Pre-game food for our all-day board game session has me stuck
My group is doing a full Saturday of board games and I said I'd bring the eats. I want stuff that's easy to grab without stopping play or making a mess. What do you usually cook or buy for long gaming days? Also, any tips for keeping drinks away from the table? I'm worried about another accident like last time.

Totally get the worry about spills (we lost a good copy of Ticket to Ride that way, sad times). For all-day stuff, honestly don't cook much, it's way easier to just buy a bunch of finger foods that don't need plates. Think pretzels, baby carrots, those little meat and cheese trays. The real trick is putting all the drinks on a separate side table, like a cheap folding one, so nobody can even reach them from the game.

Last game night, my homemade chili beat baby carrots any day.

Separate drink table saved our Catan board last month.
