Had to pick between a Miller and a Lincoln for our shop's new welder. Went with the Miller, now I'm wondering if I blew it.

After 3 days of arguing with my foreman, I finally convinced him to spring for the Miller. First job with it, the wire feed started acting up on a 1-inch fillet weld. Took me an hour to dial it back in. The Lincoln at the other shop runs smooth every time. Anyone else regret a big brand switch like this?

Funny how the grass always looks greener on the Lincoln side, right? Tension on the drive roll is a solid tip though, saved me from throwing my Miller out a window once. Maybe the honeymoon phase is just over and it'll settle down.

Check the tension on the drive roll, that fixed my Miller.
