Bet you never thought you'd get good at the one craft you used to dread. What changed in your process to make you actually enjoy it now?

Honestly I think it's like cooking dinner or folding laundry. You hate it until you figure out your own weird shortcut that makes it click. For me it was ditching all the fancy tools and just using my hands half the time. Now I get why people say the boring stuff is actually the relaxing part once you stop fighting it.
