Pro tip: my scrap bin hit 40 pounds of offcuts before I finally changed how I cut boards
I weighed it out of curiosity last Tuesday and it came to 40 pounds, mostly slivers too small for anything but spine stiffeners. How much waste is normal for a small bench, and does anyone actually save the tiny bits or am I just hoarding?
