Guy at the nursery tried to tell me morning glory is hard to kill. Planted some by the fence last May and it ate my neighbors rose bush by July.

Pretty sure morning glory laughs at weed killer.

Maybe it's the deep taproots, they just keep going until they find water no matter what you spray on top. Tilling just breaks them into more plants, too.
