Hit 1,000 pressed specimens and my garage smells like a forest funeral
I finally crossed 1,000 total pressed plants in my collection after three years of sneaking samples from every hike around Bend, Oregon. The weird part is that my garage now has this permanent damp-cedar smell that even my wife noticed from the driveway. Most of them are common stuff like ferns and dandelions, but number 1,000 turned out to be a wild rose I almost skipped. Anyone else hit a random milestone and realize their hobby took over a whole room?
