Met a lady at the community garden who could name every plant by smell alone
Last Tuesday I was weeding my little plot and this older woman walks by, stops, and says 'your oregano is about to bolt, clip it tomorrow morning.' She was right. How do people even develop that kind of plant intuition?

Is it weird that I kind of envy her? There's something really cool about being that in tune with plants and nature, like she's got a secret superpower or something. I can barely tell basil from mint unless I taste it, so meeting someone like that would make me feel like such a rookie.

Read a study once that said people who garden actually have different brain chemistry from the stress relief.
