My friend says talking to plants is silly, but I swear my basil grew faster after I started.
Was in my kitchen garden last month, told my wilting basil it was doing great. Perked up in two days. Is that real growth or just wishful thinking? Anyone have proof?

My friend Karen talks to her spider plants every morning and they have so many babies she's giving them away to everyone she knows. She swears it's because she tells them they're thriving, not just surviving.
