PSA: That $200 misting system I bought for my greenhouse was a total scam

I figured a fancy automated mister would keep my ferns happy while I was at work for a week... it just sprayed water all over the floor and never actually hit the leaves. The nozzles clogged after three days and now I'm back to hand-misting with a spray bottle. Has anyone else had luck with those cheaper pump sprayers from the hardware store?

Honestly, is hand-misting really that bad though? Sounds like you're overcomplicating watering plants.
