Had a whole brick course start to lean on a job in Tacoma last summer
We were building a garden wall, about four feet high. The mix was a bit wet that morning, and I was laying too fast. Got about twenty feet in before I stepped back and saw it. The whole run had a slight curve, maybe an inch out of plumb at the worst spot. My helper just said, 'That ain't right.' I knew I had to fix it before the mortar set. We carefully popped the worst bricks off with a chisel and trowel, cleaned off the old mud, and re-laid them with a fresh, stiffer mix. Kept the line tight with the string the whole time. Took us an extra hour and a half, but it was worth it. Ever have a wall try to walk on you like that? What's your go-to fix for a lean before it's too late?

Ever have a wall look back at you like you're the one who's crooked?

Look back at you" reminds me of a sidewalk slab I poured that looked like a funhouse mirror.
