I finally ruined a whole wall of brick because I didnt check the string line

Up on a scaffold in Portland last Tuesday, I was laying a big garden wall. Got halfway up and realized the whole thing had a belly in the middle, maybe 3/4 inch out of plumb. Had to tear down about 60 bricks and start over, wasted a whole morning. Has anyone else had a simple oversight like that cost them a half day of work?

That 3/4 inch is brutal. I feel your pain on losing a whole morning to a string line mistake.

Pfft, 3/4 inch is barely a trim, sounds like a solid excuse for a coffee break.
